Introducing all 13 of my pets in the order that I got them! See their faces and get to know their personalities!


Tigger

Type: Bearded Dragon

Age: 6 years Sex: Male

How Did I Get Them: for my 18th birthday from PetSmart (I don’t plan on using stores like this to get animals in the future)

Fun Fact: Lives in a custom-built enclosure (thanks Dad!)


Reo

Type: Corn Snake

Age: 6 years Sex: Unknown

How Did I Get Them: for Christmas from PetSmart

Fun Fact: Named after the Rio Grande… but I misspelled it.


Toad

Type: Aquatic Frog

Age: 6 years Sex: Unknown

How Did I Get Them: my fathers fried had gotten them for their classroom before realizing they may live 30 years

Fun Fact: Will eat anything… including fingers. Luckily, no real teeth.


Nemo

Type: Orange Tabby Cat

Age: 5 years Sex: Male

How Did I Get Them: my previous coworker’s cat had an unexpected litter of kittens and I was moving into my own apartment and wanted a buddy to cuddle

Fun Fact: he is registered as my ESA (emotional support animal)


Kirby

Type: Plecostomus

Age: 5 years Sex: Unknown

How Did I Get Them: my previous job was getting rid of their fish tank and didn’t know what to do with Kirby

Fun Fact: Kirby is the only thing I have put in the fish tank that Toad has not eaten. Very camera shy


Cooper

Type: Border Collie Dog

Age: 9 years Sex: Male

How Did I Get Them: came with the husband πŸ˜‰

Fun Fact: He is the perfect mom dog to kittens


Sebastian

Type: Jack Russel Terrier/Dachshund Dog

Age: 5 years Sex: Male

How Did I Get Them: in-laws were rehoming

Fun Fact: Cooper is the only dog he likes. Everyone else = war.


Sassy

Type: Bunny

Age: 7 years Sex: Female

How Did I Get Them: was surrendered to the shelter I worked at and remained their for 9 months with no interest in adoption

Fun Fact: Lives up to her nameβ€”territorial, growly, but loves head scratches (on her terms).


Rex

Type: Miniature Rex Rabbit

Age: 5 years Sex: Male

How Did I Get Them: was transferred to the shelter I worked at from another shelter

Fun Fact: Rex came to the shelter without a name and since I had 9 other animals to enter into the system, get into cages, and still monitor the front I had no time to think of a good name so I named him Rex after his breed and decided whoever adopted him would rename him -_-


Fidget

Type: Rabbit

Age: 3 years Sex: Female

How Did I Get Them: adopted from the shelter I worked at

Fun Fact: she came in as a stray that someone found outside without a mom when she was about a month old


Jelly

Type: Orange Tabby Cat

Age: 3 years Sex: Male

How Did I Get Them: foster fail as a kitten from the shelter I worked at

Fun Fact: Jelly used to get FERAL for wet food. He would run/climb a person relentlessly until food was put on the floor


Feta

Type: Torbie Cat

Age: 3 years Sex: Female

How Did I Get Them: foster fail as a kitten from the shelter I worked at

Fun Fact: came in as a feral kitten who was untouchable, after a lot of time and progress she loved to talk but was still not comfortable with pets but was Jelly’s best friend so we decided to keep her too


Hyde

Type: Mouse

Age: 8 months Sex: Male

How Did I Get Them: adopted from the shelter I worked at

Fun Fact: I fell in love with him after the other mice were aggressively picking on him
