Tigger had a blast running around our humid garage while my husband and I worked out (supervised of course)

The fish and Toad (my aquatic frog) don’t always get enrichment but this week they got a tank upgrade with some new live plants!

Reo got some time out of her enclosure this week that I wasn’t able to snap a picture of

The bunnies got some special treats! I hollowed out some mini cucumbers and added some left over apple baby food that my son didn’t like to the middle. Fidget loved it! Check out her reaction on Facebook

Enrichment is essential to an animal’s quality of life. I like to think of it as anything that encourages an animal to think, explore, play, or experience something outside of their normal routine.
Enrichment can happen in small ways every single day, and it does not have to be complicated or expensive. These are simply some of the extra things I do to help make sure my animals are living the happiest, healthiest lives I can give them.
